Aje’s Cruise collection is inspired by the idyllic corners of tropical Australia and beyond.Where is your favourite sunny, Australian destination and what is one of your favourite memories from visiting here?

 

One of my favourite sunny destinations in Australia would have to be Castle Rock. It’s a little beach over the north side, where the water is crystal clear and the scenery transports you to somewhere in Europe. These summer holidays, my friends and I revisited the beach and the sun was out, water was warm, we went paddle boarding, it was such a fun day.

 

Which pieces from Aje’s Cruise collection do you see yourself wearing around Sydney this summer, and where to?

 

I love the Caliente Cut Out Dress. I can definitely see myself wearing that out to a lovely lunch under the sun and then going out for a little dance.

During the warmer months, which items of clothing are your must-have summer essentials?

 

My summer essential pieces would have to be an easy dress that can be thrown on for the beach but also transport you to evening drinks, a chunky sandal and a statement pair of sunglasses.

We are blessed with some of the best beaches in the world in Australia, which are your favourites in Sydney and beyond, and why?

 

My favourite beaches would have to be the harbour beaches, like Seven Shillings, Milk Beach and Lady Martins. I also love heading to the north, visiting Castle Rock, Palm Beach, Avalon. They're all so beautiful.

 

When the luxury of travel is possible, what are your go-to versatile travel looks?

 

IWhen travel is back on the cards, I’ll be packing my suitcase with a few great pair of pants, including some denim, oversized shirting, dresses that can take you from day to night and a cool pair of boots!

 

It’s a hot summer day in Sydney and your work schedule is clear. Describe your perfect day - where would you eat/shop/play/visit.

 

My day would include grabbing a coffee, my book and heading straight down to Seven Shillings Beach. Going in and out of the water for a swim and to freshen up, possibly grabbing a green smoothie. Dinner would involve something fresh, like heading to the shop and wine bar for their famous Chop chop salad, paired with a chilled orange wine.

Listening to the spirit and feeling of Australian summer, which songs and artists would feature on your playlist?

 

My favourite songs at the moment include 6’s to 9’s (feat Rationale), Wildfires and everything and anything by SZA.
